Here is what happens between placing an order and the print reaching your door. Because each poster is made individually, the timeline has two stages: production and then transit.
Production
Every print is manufactured on demand by our European print partner once your order is confirmed. Nothing is held in stock, so a short production window applies before an order can be dispatched. During busier periods this stage can take a little longer, and we will let you know if that happens.
Delivery times
Once an order leaves production, delivery within the European Union typically takes three to seven business days. The exact time depends on the destination and the carrier's local network. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays, and remote or island addresses can sit at the longer end of that range.
Packaging
Prints are protected for transit and sent in rigid tube or reinforced flat packaging appropriate to the format, so the poster arrives flat and undamaged. We choose the packaging method that best suits the size you ordered.
Tracking and addresses
Where the carrier provides tracking, the details are sent to the email address on your order once the parcel is on its way. Please check that your delivery address is complete and correct before ordering, as we cannot reroute a parcel once it has entered the carrier network.
Delays and questions
Most parcels arrive within the expected window, but carrier delays outside our control can occasionally occur. If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time after dispatch, contact hello@gridlineposters.com and we will look into it with the carrier.
